Comprehensive psychological assessment for diagnostic clarification and complex clinical presentations, including trauma, PTSD, dissociation, mood and anxiety disorders, and other psychological concerns.
Psychodiagnostic & Complex Diagnostic Assessment
In-depth assessment when symptoms, diagnoses, or treatment needs require further clarification. Evaluation may integrate clinical interview, psychological testing, review of relevant records, and differential diagnosis, with particular expertise in trauma-related and dissociative presentations.
Disability & Functional Assessment
Psychological evaluations addressing psychiatric symptoms, functional impairment, and the impact of psychological conditions on occupational and daily functioning. Dr. Hirshfeld has extensive experience with disability-related psychological evaluations, including Social Security disability assessments and VA Compensation & Pension psychological examinations.
Independent & Forensic Psychological Evaluation
Independent evaluations addressing clearly defined clinical, disability, administrative, or forensic referral questions. The scope of each evaluation is established in advance and may include psychological testing, record review, collateral information, and written findings when indicated.
Fees
Clinical & Psychodiagnostic Assessment — $650 per 50-minute unit
Forensic Psychological Evaluation — $800 per 50-minute unit
Fees are based on the number of units required and are determined by the scope and complexity of each evaluation. Depending on the referral question and assessment needs, an evaluation may require multiple units for clinical interviews, psychological testing, record review, interpretation, feedback, and report preparation.
Private-pay, out-of-network practice. Superbills are provided for patients seeking reimbursement from their insurance plans.
