Professional Services

Clinical expertise applied to professionals, leaders, and organizations.

Clinical Supervision

Advanced clinical supervision and consultation for psychologists and mental health professionals working with trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, and challenging clinical presentations. Particular attention is given to vicarious traumatization, secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, and professional burnout, including how clinicians’ sustained exposure to trauma may affect clinical judgment, therapeutic relationships, and their own psychological wellbeing. Supervision integrates clinical formulation, trauma-informed practice, psychoanalytic thinking, ethical decision-making, and careful attention to the complexities of the therapeutic relationship.

Executive & Organizational Consultation

Consultation for executives, founders, and organizational leaders addressing both the psychological dimensions of leadership and the challenges of leading complex organizations. Individual executive consultation provides a confidential space to examine leadership and relational style, recurring interpersonal patterns, decision-making, conflict, authority, and psychological dynamics that may constrain effectiveness or professional development. Drawing on experience as a clinician, mental health and technology company founder, advisor, and organizational consultant, Dr. Hirshfeld brings a psychologically informed perspective to leadership, organizational dynamics, workforce wellbeing, professional burnout, and resilience.

Trauma-Informed Program Development & Consultation

Dr. Hirshfeld provides clinical and strategic consultation to mental health and healthcare organizations, nonprofits, for-profit companies, and community-based and international organizations in the development, implementation, and refinement of trauma-informed programs and services. She works with leadership and clinical teams to integrate trauma-informed principles and clinical best practices across program development, training, policies, organizational practices, service delivery, and organizational culture. Consultation may include program design and development, clinical standards and protocols, risk and ethical considerations, evaluation and outcomes, workforce wellbeing, and specialized mental health support and response training for clinicians, facilitators, program managers, and other professionals working with trauma-affected populations.

Professional Education & Training

Specialized education and training for mental health professionals, healthcare teams, leaders, and organizations in trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, critical incident response, secondary and vicarious traumatization, compassion fatigue, professional burnout, and trauma-informed care.
